Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 31, 2026

TwoFace is built to keep your footage yours. The app records and processes everything on your device, and we do not collect, store, or sell your personal information. This policy explains exactly what that means.

1. Summary

  • TwoFace does not require an account, login, or any personal information to use.
  • Your photos and videos are processed on your device and saved to your Photos library. We never receive or upload them.
  • We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs that profile you.
  • The app is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple's App Store.

2. Who we are

TwoFace ("the app", "we", "us", or "our") is developed and published by The Red Collar Company. If you have any questions about this policy or your privacy, contact us at twoface@redcollar.io.

3. Information we do not collect

We designed TwoFace so that we never see your data. Specifically, we do not collect:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, or contacts;
  • The photos or videos you capture with the app;
  • Your location;
  • Persistent device identifiers used for advertising or cross-app tracking;
  • Behavioral analytics that identify you as an individual.

TwoFace has no user accounts and no server that stores your content. Because we do not collect this information, we cannot share, sell, or disclose it.

4. How your captures are handled

When you record video or take a photo, TwoFace captures frames from your iPhone's cameras, frames them as portrait (9:16) and landscape (16:9), and writes the resulting files to your device. With your permission, those files are saved to your Photos library. All of this happens locally on your iPhone.

Temporary files created during capture are stored in the app's private area on your device and are managed by the operating system. We do not transmit your captures off the device.

5. Device permissions

TwoFace asks for the following permissions solely to provide its core functionality:

  • Camera — required to show live previews and record from your iPhone's cameras. The app cannot function without it.
  • Microphone — used to record audio alongside your video. You can decline this or mute audio in the app; video will still record.
  • Photos (Add) — used to save your finished captures to your library. If you decline, captures remain available to the app session but are not added to Photos.

You can review or change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → TwoFace.

6. Purchases

TwoFace is sold as a single one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. Payment, billing, and receipt validation are handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your payment details. We may receive anonymized, aggregated sales information from Apple that does not identify you personally.

7. Third-party services

TwoFace does not embed advertising networks or third-party tracking SDKs. The only third party inherently involved is Apple, which operates the App Store and the iOS frameworks the app relies on. Apple's handling of your data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

8. Children's privacy

TwoFace is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because the app collects no personal data, it can be used without creating a profile of any user.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the GDPR or CCPA — including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data a company holds about you. Because TwoFace does not collect or store personal data on our servers, we hold nothing to access or delete. The captures on your device are entirely under your control and can be managed or removed through the Photos app at any time. If you have questions about your rights, contact us at twoface@redcollar.io.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect new features or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page, which is published at twoface.cam.
